🐟THE STORY BEHIND THE PAINTING 'RELEASE THE MAGIC'
 
Have you ever experienced back pain?  Imagine if you could unzip your back, take out the pain, and zip it back up again.
 
It all began when I realized that my only physical activity was my morning walks with my lazy dog. Whenever I tried to change lanes or extend our walk, my dog would pull me back and leave me stuck in one spot. 
 
That's when I stumbled upon yoga videos on YouTube, and the idea sounded appealing...
 
Once during yoga, the instructor told us to do a headstand, and I tried.
What I got instead?
 
A symphony of neck cracks and a weeklong sore back that made me wish I had a zipper to open my spine and air it all out.
 
But pain didn’t make it into this painting—magic did.
Instead of tension, I painted seahorses gliding out through an imaginary zipper.
 
Because sometimes you just need to unzip reality and let beauty float free. 
 
This is “Release the Magic”—a surreal coffee-painted to the quiet wish we all have: to release what’s heavy, and let something gentle take its place.
 
She’s got a seahorse tattoo on her arm (because some magic stays with you), and she’s wrapped in soft patterns, because even the weirdest healing fantasies can be beautiful...
